My name is Beniditte Pedro, I am 21 years old and
a designer at training at Communication and Multimedia Design (CMD)
at the Hogeschool Rotterdam.
As a designer-in-training, I aim to realize my interests and talents in
UI design ; these include my interest in people and society,
the creation of beautiful and clean designs
and my curiosity in researching and testing prototypes.

Throughout my academic career, I have developed
a range of skills. This is thanks to my
secondary education at an art school in Antwerp
and my current minor, CampusDoc, within the Journalism program.
In my current minor, I am directing a documentary
called Samenloop. During this period, I have learned how to
film and how to operate camera and sound equipment.
Thanks to my education,
I have gained experience in Figma, Adobe XD, Canva and Premiere Pro.
Besides my hard skills, I also contribute to a team socially;
I value good collaboration, I am social, and I am down to earth
I strive to have an enjoyable time while working with my colleagues.

I chose CMD because it offers a
balence of creativity, intellect
and communication
I enjoy designing because it
allows me to think
outside the box in the way I want.
Additionally, it is a form of intellect
because I solve problems,
research insights, and link
results together.
Design is about something

Thanks to my work experience
as a copywriter and art director
for a magazine at the Hogeschool
Rotterdam
I also gained experience in writing
interviewing, and leadership.
It was a nice experience for me
in which I learned a lot.
Because of this, I gained a small
experience in journalistic skills.
